What's up with that?

O.k., here's the story... Me and my boyfriend got back together and against my better judgement, I had w/ him on the 4th of July. I just didn't feel I was ready yet. Anyway, he told me that he felt that was vital to us working on our relationship because it was intimate. O.k. I gave in. We had a perfect 4 days. It was almost a surreal 4 days. We spent a lot of time together and everything was perfect. He told me he loved me so much that he just "wanted to breathe me in"!!!! He couldn't get enough of me. Well, he left today going to the beach for the week and decided that I hadn't done enough to prove to him that I love him and he was sick of being played. How stupid? Was I just gullible enough to give him what he wanted and now he's done? Was I the stupid one? How do I recover? Did he just want some?
