Is anyone embarred at the condescending attitude of the British press reporting the McCann case.?

The papers seem to think that the McCanns are innocent based wholly on the fact that they are British middle cl. It is embarring. The Sun cries that the Portuguese police are incompetent and shambolic and then have the nerve to say that Maddie has been forgotten in all this. From day 1 their attitude has been that a British doctor is incapable of neglect or worse, and that the Portuguese police are useless. It is no wonder that across Europe the British are unpopular, with this pompous attitude. It is not the fault of the police that Kate and Gerry were negligent, and with the evidence pointing less to an abduction and more to the cover up of an accidental death, it is quite proper that they are suspects. It is not ludicrous at all.
