Can anyone help me find a topic for a research paper?

In my English cl, we need to write a research paper. The research paper is supposed to be about something that we find interesting that we can go in depth about. However, we can't use topics like abortion or gun control, nothing really political like that that can be arguable. I just need some ideas for my research paper. I know it's kind of based on choice on what I personally find interesting, but I don't have many ideas right now and I was hoping maybe someone could help me with brainstorming.
